1) THE DEEP WAVE
This is one of the coolest and most unique looks among men's hairstyles. This hairstyle can be easily rocked by men with textured hair who want a bold approach to their appearance.
Don’t be afraid to give this a try! If you’ve got the right texture and you’re bold enough to test it out, we guarantee you’ll LOVE the results!
2) THE RAZOR UP-SWEEP MOHAWK
Seriously… could this hairstyle BE any cooler?? This is hairstyle is probably our most unique and edgy hairstyle on our list, but of course… it’s not for everyone.
Men with longer hair will love this up-sweep mohawk hairstyle, especially since it has a more naturally vertical form as opposed to using a ton of gel to get it to stay in place, as you would with a traditional mohawk hairstyle. This look has dimension because it’s long on top, medium in the middle and super short on the bottom.
3) THE ASYMMETRICAL HAIRSTYLE
For those who consider themselves adventurous men, you’ll love the playful and sometimes controversial look of the Asymmetrical hairstyle. This look will certainly draw attention and stand out from the crowd, no question.
4) THE FRENCH CROP
While the fringe adds an element of fashion to this hairstyle, the short length makes this hairstyle very low-maintenance and easy to style in the mornings.
The French crop is basically a twist on the classic Caesar haircut. It’s short, convenient and features short hair with a straight fringe at the hairline in the front.
5) TEXTURED TOP + TEMPLE
This textured top and temple hairstyle is both modern and masculine and is a cool undercut style that works with most hair types. To style, keep about 2 inches on top at the most and tell your barber the exact length you want it.
6) TEXTURED FRENCH CROP W/ TAPER
Okay… the secret is out… we love hairstyles with TEXTURE! Remember, the length of the French crop can vary, so make sure to tell your barber exactly which style you’re looking for so they can estimate the length of the sides and back.
The biggest advantages of this hairstyle is its flexibility. It works well with most face shapes and hair types. Ask your barber clip or cut the sides depending on the kind of texture you want. If you want more volume and texture, be sure to ask for the hair on top to be point cut. This creates a ragged look, and it’s ideal for taking out weight if you have thick hair.
7) TEXTURED FRINGE HAIRSTYLE
Remember what I was just saying about texture? Well, this hairstyle is no exception! The textured fringe is a very trendy style for guys with curly hair.
Normally, wavy and curly hairstyles can be hard to manage, but the curly fringe just seems to work. You can achieve this hairstyle by adding a short fringe to your look which will show off your hair’s natural texture or color. It can even help frame your face!
8) SHORT STRAIGHT FADE
With a short straight fade hairstyle, the hair at the top is literally kept short and straight. You can achieve this look by brushing it upwards and using a hair wax and finishing with a holding spray to keep it in place.
Don’t forget to fade down to a close crop that extends down the jawline with your beard.
9) QUIFF HAIRSTYLES
The quiff continues to be one of the coolest hairstyles for men. It’s a relatively high-maintenance look that requires a good men’s styling product to pull off, but this hairstyle is worth the extra effort.
To get this look, we recommend using a flexible hold pomade like our ShapeShifter.
10) COMB OVER HAIRSTYLES
Move over Grandpa! This is NOT your old-school comb over!
Sure, the original comb over needs no introduction; although there have been some modern additions to this traditional style. Because of its versatility, with the comb over hairstyle, men can opt for a long or short comb over, allowing more flexibility with styles like a slick back, pompadour, or quiff.
With a faded comb over, as pictured here, there is some type of taper on the sides and some length on top, adding even more edge to this look. We recommend using a hair clay with medium hold like our HydroClay.
