1) GET YOUR BEAUTY SLEEP
Beauty sleep doesn't discriminate! When it comes to getting a good night's sleep, it's recommended by The National Sleep Foundation that the average person gets between 7-9 hours nightly. And to be honest, most of us aren't getting even close to that.
We get it, the work-life balance is real, but setting aside quality sleep time is super important to your health and will ensure you are well-rested and ready for whatever the next day throws at you. And nobody looks good with dark circles under their eyes, right?
2) WAKE UP EARLY
As we mentioned, sleep is important, but sleeping the day away never did anyone any favors. Waking up early and getting a jump start on the day can be an incredible feeling. Imagine getting out those work emails, and squeezing in a morning run all before 10 AM.
Starting your day early will not only make you feel more accomplished but will help you find some quality "me time". Something simple like sipping your coffee outside on a brisk morning can really help you de-stress. Try it! You won't regret it!
3) EAT BETTER
It's no secret... eating healthy has a huge impact on your quality of life, mood, appearance and overall well-being. Eating fatty foods and having a poor diet not only makes you feel gross and lazy, but can have severe repercussions on your health.
This doesn't have to break the bank, either. Try easy meal prep options or choose a salad or healthier option if you grab grub on the go. Just stay away from overly saturated or greasy foods and you'll start to notice a significant change in almost every aspect of your life.
4) GET FIT
It's easy to make excuses for never getting around to working out. The gym gets overly crowded... there's never enough time in the day... and let's be honest, after a long day of work, sometimes hitting the gym for a heavy sweat session is the LAST thing on your mind.
That being said, finding a simple fitness routine, is not only great for your health but will boost endorphins in your brain that will increase your overall happiness and put you in a better mindset that will hopefully carry through to your next work task or social event.

This is another great way to unwind and de-stress, by doing something "fun" after a long work week and a great way to meet new people, get outside or just change up your daily routine that can sometimes feel mundane.
